Scottish Crannog Centre - Loch Tay.

One of the main attractions to tempt visitors to the Luxury Holiday Homes at Tigh Na Loan Loch Tay is the Scottish Crannog Centre.
A crannog is a type of ancient loch-dwelling found throughout Scotland and Ireland dating from 5,000 years ago. Many crannogs were built out in the water as defensive homesteads and represented symbols of power and wealth. The Scottish Crannog centre features a reconstruction of an early Iron Age loch-dwelling.

Discover how and why these ancient people built their homes in the water and experience first-hand how they lived at the Scottish Crannog Centre.
